1. About TEDxNagpur

TEDxNagpur is a non-profit initiative operating under a TEDx license granted by TED. We aim to bring TED-like experiences to the local community in Nagpur through events such as TEDxNagpur, TEDxNagpurSalon, and TEDxNagpurCountdown.

2. Ticketing and Payments

• Ticket Purchase: Tickets for TEDxNagpur events are sold online. For bulk or corporate purchases, please contact corporates@tedxnagpur.com.
• Refund Policy: All ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be issued under normal circumstances. In case of event postponement, refunds may be issued at the discretion of the organizers.
• Ticket Transfers: Tickets are non-transferable.
• Payment Processor: All online transactions are securely processed via Razorpay.

3. Event Guidelines

• Age Policy: TEDxNagpur events are open to individuals of all ages.
• Photography & Media: Events may be recorded and photographed. By attending, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, or voice in promotional and editorial materials.
• Dress Code: Attendees are expected to maintain appropriate dress and decorum.
• Code of Conduct: Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may lead to removal from the event without refund.

4. User Accounts

• Account Creation: You may create an account on the TEDxNagpur website:
  • By registering with your email and creating a password;
  • By signing in using your Google account (OAuth login);
  • Automatically, when purchasing a ticket if no existing account is associated with the provided email.
• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Account Use: Your account allows access to event registrations, past purchases, and personalized event communication.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

Information Collected: We collect personal information including your name, email, phone number, gender, organization, and profession when you register or attend an event. Additional information may be collected for speaker or volunteer applications.

Use of Data: Collected data is used for ticketing, communication, curation, and event planning.

Third-Party Services: We use trusted third-party services like Razorpay (payments), Google Analytics (analytics), and MailChimp/Brevo (email communication), among others.

6. Limitation of Liability

TEDxNagpur and its organizing team shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in our events or use of our website or by association of any means.

7. Unexpected Events

TEDxNagpur shall not be responsible for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or governmental actions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website or participation in events after such changes constitutes your acceptance.
